GREENSBORO, N.C. – Karonnie Truzy, Litigation Attorney for Crumley Roberts, was recently elected to serve on the Board of Governors for the North Carolina Advocates for Justice (NCAJ).  The NCAJ is a nonprofit, nonpartisan association dedicated to protecting individual rights through professional and community legal education.

“I am humbled by this great honor and am excited to serve in leadership for the NCAJ – an organization whose mission I so strongly believe in,” said Truzy.

The 2013-2014 NCAJ Board of Governors was elected on June 16 at the NCAJ annual convention in Wilmington.  Nominees were elected by the organization’s 4,000+ members, including attorneys, legal assistants, law school faculty and students, and law office managers.  Truzy will serve a three year term on the Board.

Truzy is a graduate of the Wake Forest University School of Law and has been at Crumley Roberts since 2001.  He is recognized by the National Trial Lawyers organization as a “Top 40 Under 40” lawyer and is a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, a prestigious group including less than 1% of U.S. lawyers and limited to attorneys who have won million and multi-million dollar verdicts and settlements.

“Karonnie is an exemplary attorney and advocate, so it is only fitting that his peers recognize him in this manner,” said Chris Roberts, President and CEO of Crumley Roberts.  “We are proud to have him represent our firm in the courtroom and in our community.”

Founded in 1989, Crumley Roberts, LLP, represents individuals in the areas of personal injury, drug injury, product liability, workers’ compensation, and Social Security disability.  The firm operates 14 offices in North Carolina and South Carolina.  To learn more about the firm and its community relations activities, visit CrumleyRoberts.com.
